I wan't to get an estimate on getting a Bloodletter Quill commissioned as a life counter.

Hurley Burley Alters Answer:

For a Bloodletter Quill lifecounter I would need 5-10 copies of the card. It will be $15 for the 3Ding process and an additional $10 for the lifecounter.

I know that this isn’t related to my alters, but this dog is a member of my family. We need help to fix his injuries he got from his previous owners.

I will be donating artwork to you if you donate a certain amount of money.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

The newest member of my ever growing harem of Lilianas. Each one leading me closer to Patron sainthood! This one was made by CeanD Alters. Liliana is pushing the temptress agenda pretty hard in this outfit!

Making these “alters” is ILLEGAL. These are proxies. Yes, it has a Liliana underneath the foil but that is NOT how the card was printed. The person making these does not have permission for WotC to make these. Furthermore, they are NOT legal for tournament play.

Considering you felt strongly enough to post this, I shall reply. You are right and wrong. I picked this up someone reselling it so idk if the original creator had permission to use the art but I can bet you they didn’t. So in that way you are right.
It is not however a proxy. The foiling layer does not cover the card name, abilities or starting loyalty so it’s very easy to see that it is a genuine Liliana of the veil. Additionally I have played with these style alters before, and the judges have never had an issue with them. As long as the text isn’t covered, and it’s not easily confused with a different card they are fine use in my experience

Hello, I am an L1 judge that does a seminar on alters. These cards are no longer legal for tournament play. They change how the card bends while it is shuffled, which could lead to the player cheating. The judges are now being taught this. So, even if you were allowed to use this in the past, expect not to be allowed to use them in the future.

Also, you’re not allowed to alter the border anymore I think

The border is allowed to be altered. However if the sleeves are too short the alter may not be allowed because the player can see a change of color at the top of the sleeve. Here is the rules on alters.
